A pretty holiday cottage close to Hay-on-Wye and the hills of the Welsh Borders

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage, in the hamlet of Little Merthyr, is just six miles from Hay-on-Wye, and surrounded by the hills of the Welsh Marches. It is lived in by the owner for part of the year and as such is well equipped, and homely feeling. There is one double bedroom (and a possible option to use a second smaller double). The kitchen and dining area are in a beautiful light modern extension with bifold doors that open onto a patio and long south facing garden. The house has a washing machine and a dishwasher. Fibre broadband.

There are woodland walks close to the house; the Brecon Beacons are to the south and west; and Radnorshire Hills to the north.

Canoeing on the River Wye is another glorious way to see the landscape.
